With Meritage being a Red Blend, the winemaker was not constrained by varietal limitations and was able to pull five varietals, including Merlot and Zinfandel, from several vineyard sources. This Meritage shows terrific balance with bold fruit flavor. 2012 was a great vintage in that it supplied both copious amounts of fruit and some of the highest quality seen in years. Perfect for entertaining or paired alongside robust holiday meals, this is an excellent food wine to enjoy with family and friends all season long.
